SPECIAL TO MY PATIENTS
For Patients Receiving Medical Treatment
Please always comply with the periods (eg 5 days-1 week or 3 months) for each drop or tablet on the prescription (using the medication for more or less time than necessary may damage your eyes!), and call me when you have a conflict about the duration.
If you have been given drops, apply a drop directly into the eye with clean hands without touching the tip of the drop box to your eye or your hand, under hygienic conditions, and immediately close the lid of the dropper (more than one drop of the drop will not have any additional benefit, and it will cause your drop to expire sooner).
For My Surgery Patients
Be sure to use the drops given to you before the surgery (drops necessary for preparation for the surgery) as recommended, until the morning of the surgery day, and do not forget to take the medications with you when you come.
If you are using aspirin or other blood-thinning medication before the surgery, I advise you to stop it, if possible and if your health is not at risk, in consultation with me 5 days before the surgery. If you have diabetes, it should be below 180-200 on the morning of the operation day.
